- Is responsible for assisting with the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
- Observes all rules and regulations of the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
- Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
- Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.
- Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions.
- Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the MPCS guidelines.
- Assists in other capacities that the Head of Preschool, or designee, determines is necessary.
- Supports the value of an education founded in Christian values.
- Supports the philosophy and mission of Mount Pisgah Christian School.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably in an educational environment.
- A mission-driven individual who demonstrates an eagerness to serve in a faith-based academic environment & genuine ability to connect with and serve young people in a Christian community.
- Communications: Effective written, verbal, and editing communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
- Collaboration: Has student-centered focus and ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including students, families, faculty, staff, and community partners.

- Manage equipment, including a phone, computer, camera, video equipment, and other electronic devices.
- Use muscles or limbs to Lift boxes or items under 30 lbs.
- Occasionally work nights and weekends in support of departmental school activities.
