We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MS/Tele Float Travel Nurse to join our team at Biron Robertson for roles across North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients while enjoying the excitement of travel nursing. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience, at least 1 year in MS/tele setting
- First time travelers not accepted
- Certs: BLS
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
JOB DETAILS:
- Ratios: 1:6, flex based on needs in organization
- 12 hour nights, 36 hours per week, weekends only
- Option to be scheduled on Friday or Monday for the coverage for 3 days
- Float required within the CNRO (Centralized Resource Nursing Pool)
- Float Pool currently covers three separate campuses.
- Majority of shifts will be at the main campus but shift can also be scheduled at New Hanover Orthopedic Hospital and Pender Memorial Hospital
- Staff are notified 2hrs before the start of the shift
- Unite systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
- 24 hour orientation
- Navy scrubs
PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
- Floating between several medical, surgical, and telemetry units
- Assisting in caring for patients held in our ED who are inpatient
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:
- Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.
- Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
- Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
- Contract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID.
- During times of increased census typical ratios may be higher.

Compensation: $1,300.00 - $1,900.00 per week
