Job Description Summary: Pediatric Rehabilitation RN (7A-7P)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Rehabilitation team for the 7pm-7am shift. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in pediatric nursing, with a preference for those who have experience in tracheostomy and ventilator care. PALS certification is preferred.
This role will involve providing care to children with complex medical and congenital conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings. As part of our specialized rehabilitation facility, you will be integral in helping children achieve their recovery and rehabilitation goals. The Nurse Manager will be conducting phone interviews and moving quickly to fill this urgent shift coverage need.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in a rehab setting.
Assist in the management of complex medical conditions, including trach and vent care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of RN experience in pediatrics
Trach and vent care experience (preferred).
PALS certification (preferred).
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work 7pm-7am shifts.
