Overview –Â
Founded in 2012 with less than 20 students, Ni Hao Chinese now has over 2,000 students go through our language learning program. We are looking for a candidate who has professional selling and communication skills to help with promoting classes and has the ability to teach Mandarin Chinese. Ni Hao Chinese is expanding quickly, and we want the best candidate to grow with us.
Responsibilities –
- Have a teaching plan to achieve progression in the children’s learning.
- Provide clear structures for lessons, maintaining pace, motivation, and challenge.
- Assess how well learning objectives have been achieved and record children’s progress systematically.
- Be able to create a simple, yet challenging, curriculum (such as coloring, pasting projects, arts & craft, etc.).
- Display enthusiasm, understanding, and commitment to ensure the children’s experiences are positive and underpin their educational lives.
- Recommend courses/programs based on customers’ needs.
- Answer customers’ questions about our courses/programs or other related topics. Â
- Maintain customer records, evaluate customer needs, and increase the purchasing or renewal rate.
- Schedule classes and process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations if needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements –
- Bachelor’s degree required.Â
- Prior experience working in sales, customer service, or education field preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiating skills, clear speaking.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Strong interpersonal skills.Â
- Able to evaluate, analyze, and solve problems with small children.
- Must be able to multi-task with children and other responsibilities.
